App Terms of Use

Corgi is an AI-powered journaling and mood tracking app designed to help users reflect, chat, and care for their mental well-being in a cozy, private space. Users can freely create one journal entry during onboarding before deciding to continue using the app through a premium subscription plan (monthly or yearly).
We are a small indie team called Mangolab — consisting of one developer and one designer — continuously working to improve the Corgi experience. Due to frequent updates and improvements, some features may occasionally change or behave differently than expected, but we always do our best to deliver a stable and enjoyable experience.
Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before using the Corgi mobile application (the “Service”) operated by Mangolab (“us”, “we”, or “our”).
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all users who access or use the Service. By using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, please do not use the Service.
1. Use of the Service
Corgi is intended for personal journaling and mood tracking. By using our Service, you agree to:
a) Use the Service only for its intended purpose
b) Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
c) Respect the intellectual property rights of others
d) Avoid using the Service for harmful, offensive, or unlawful content
e) Not attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit any part of the app
2. User Accounts
When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate and current information. You can sign in using Apple or Google authentication. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for any activities under your account.

3. Intellectual Property
The Corgi app and all its original content — including text, graphics, logos, illustrations, and software — remain the exclusive property of Mangolab and its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or modify any part of the app without prior written consent from Mangolab.
4. AI-Generated Content
Corgi uses AI technology to help users create journal entries and generate images based on chat inputs. While we strive to maintain the accuracy and appropriateness of AI outputs, Mangolab is not responsible for any errors, biases, or interpretations made by the AI system. Users are solely responsible for how they use AI-generated content.
5. Premium Features and Subscriptions
Corgi offers paid premium features (“Corgi Premium”) that can be accessed through subscriptions or in-app purchases. By purchasing or subscribing, you agree to:
a) All payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, not by Mangolab. We do not collect or store any payment details.
b) Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
c) You can manage or cancel your subscription through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
d) Pricing may change over time, and you will be notified of any price adjustments before renewal.
e) No refunds are provided for unused or partial subscription periods.
f) Free trials, if available, will automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled before the trial ends.
g) Mangolab reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue premium features at any time.
6. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Corgi at any time without prior notice if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
7. Disclaimer
Corgi is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, accuracy of AI-generated content, or error-free performance. Your use of the Service is at your own discretion and risk.
8. Limitation of Liability
Mangolab shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use the Corgi app, including data loss or emotional distress resulting from AI-generated content or app errors.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Vietnam, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any material changes will be posted within the app or on our official website. By continuing to use Corgi after such updates, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
